Youth Celebration

As you all know, the church introduced a new youth program last year. Each youth was encouraged to set 2 goals in these 4 areas: Spiritual, Social, Physical, and Intellectual. Once Covid hit and we weren’t meeting anymore it became a challenge for us to touch base and follow up on goals we had set and were working on with each other in young women’s. Now that we are meeting more often and in person we hope to support you and your daughters in this program as best we can with the things we do in Young Women’s.

To help all of us Refocus and move forward with this amazing program we will be focusing on GOAL SETTING at our YOUTH CELEBRATION on MARCH 3rd. Each year we have this celebration in place of New Beginnings and Young Women in Excellence. This year, we will be combining with the young men and having the youth rotate through 4 stations with speakers and activities centered on: The WHY of setting goals, Success Stories, Goal Ideas, Tools to reach goals and more. We hope the youth will recognize their potential and feel God’s Love as they become more like him through this program.

This night will be more meaningful and successful if the youth come with personal goals in mind. We will be dropping by goal booklets for those that haven’t received one yet. Please take time to sit down with your daughter and encourage them to set 2 goals of their own in each area of development. We hope that they will come that night with 2 specific goals in mind to apply as they go through the different stations.
