ANNOUNCEMENTS

  1. AN ON-GOING REMINDER. Appointments are highly recommended in ALL ordinance areas. We encourage you to make appointments. It will eliminate possible frustration for you as things continue to become busier at the temple. If you are having trouble making appointments or need help, contact Gary or Ruth Ann Chambers.
    UPCOMING EVENTS
  2. The ward temple day for the remainder of the second quarter of 2024 will be as follows:

    June 18 6:30 pm
    Ward temple days for third quarter will be:

    July 16 6:30 pm
    August 20 6:30 pm
    September 17 6:30 pm
    If you cannot attend the session, we encourage you to attend an ordinance of your choice sometime during that day.
    Please arrive 30 minutes before the session begins.
  3. Our next scheduled sealing opportunity will be July 16, 2024. We have scheduled appointments at
    6:00 pm, 6:30 pm and 7:00 pm. A sign-up sheet will be passed in church on July 7th and July 14th.
  4. A combined Priesthood and Relief Society meeting will be held on June 30, 2024. Members of the Temple & Family History Committee will share insights regarding this magnificent work. We will have a split session with the adults meeting in their current Sunday School rooms. Here is an insight for that
    special day.
    Session 1 “Resources for facilitating completion of ordinances in the Temple”

          Items to be presented and discussed:
     Indexing names and importance of participating in indexing
     Use of “Ordinances Ready” in Family Search to obtain names
     Using computers and electronic devices
     Making appointments for active participation in Temple ordinances
     Some fun things to do

Session 2 “How To Get Started On You Own Personal History”
Taught by Anna Stevenson
“There are so many things you can do ‘outside the box’ when recording your own personal history. We will discuss several ideas and you will take home a handout to help get a jump-start on your own personal history! Don’t wait, just create!”
